Great War: Fighters is a single-player arcade air-combat game inspired by the fighter battles of the First World War. Take the controls of legendary aircraft, fight thrilling dogfights and rely on your aim, your manoeuvres and your timing.

Fight over the fronts of the First World War. Clash with the enemy over Flanders and the Somme, defend the skies above Verdun and the Marne, and fly over the Piave, the Alps, Macedonia and Galicia. Every theatre has its own atmosphere and its own challenges.

Choose one of 15 aircraft from six countries, including the Sopwith Camel, Fokker Dr.I, SPAD XIII, Albatros D.III, Fokker D.VII and Nieuport 17.

Every aircraft has its strengths and weaknesses and its own campaign of five missions. Agile fighters rule the tight turns. Fast ones reward good positioning and a well-timed attack. Heavily armed ones demand careful manoeuvring. Learn your aircraft's speed, acceleration, turn rate and the limits of its guns.

Enemy pilots do not just fly straight at you. They intercept, lead their shots, dodge your fire, loop and break away to regain energy. Check your six, pick the moment to turn and know when to pull away.

Clear the sky of enemy fighters, intercept bombers before they reach their targets, escort friendly formations, attack observation balloons and fly reconnaissance sorties. The objectives change, but one thing stays the same: you must stay in control of your aircraft.

Simple arcade controls let you focus on the fight, not on a complicated simulation. Fly freely through 360° with a clear top-down camera, work the throttle and aim. Tight turns cost energy, long bursts overheat your guns, and a well-flown loop can save you from an enemy on your tail.

Each of the 15 campaigns has five missions — 75 missions in all. Choose Easy, Normal or Hard. Enemy pilots adapt their tactics and aggression to the challenge.

Victory is only the beginning.

Return to completed missions, sharpen your aim and earn more stars. Complete missions on Hard to earn badges and prove your skill.
